Midway Animal Hospital was founded in 1988 as a one veterinarian clinic operated out of a small renovated house. The founder, Dr. Rod Hardee, was the only vet at the time. He had a vision of a veterinary hospital that treats pets with the same level of medical care and attention given to human patients. It was his insight and dedication that brought Midway Animal Hospital to where it is today�a multi-veterinarian, full-service facility offering the most progressive and up-to-date treatments available

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dr. Rod Hardee is a native Atlantan. He graduated from Mercer University with an undergraduate degree in biology in 1975, and with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. He has practiced in the Atlanta area since graduation. He and his wife opened Midway Animal Hospital in 1988. Furry creatures at home include three dogs (Annabelle, Stu, and Millie) and a cat (Stella).
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are an American Animal Hospital Association accredited small animal hospital with modern techniques and equipment that maintains that local feel.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One and only! We are locally owned and operated.
